Sweet Aloe Drink Recipe
This a really cool drink with a fun texture of the minced aloe meat. Great for freaking out your friends on their first try. And even better for the powerful anti-inflammatory benefits of the real aloe.

First, filet the meat off of an aloe leaf into fairly thin layers, about 1/8″ thick (~.3 cm). Throw out the hard skin itself and don’t use it in the drink. Now mince this meat into 1/4″ (~.6 cm) or smaller bits. You want them small enough that you won’t choke on them drinking it down, but sizable to provide some texture. Then in a large glass or pitcher, stir all the ingredients together well. Sweeten to taste with stevia and/or agave nectar. Chill in the refrigerator. Most refreshing when served cold. This aloe drink stores very well when sealed in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
